Hello there!! My name is Ruby Kellnhofer and, first and foremost, I would like to thank you for stopping in and checking out my website. I created this site to share some of the knowledge I have acquired while traveling and exploring our beautiful planet. I hope that by reading about my adventures, you can gain information to enhance your own travels and experiences, and, perhaps, avoid some of the same difficulties that I may have encountered during my own travels. When traveling, my goal is to see as much as possible while I am there. If you have a similar desire in your travels, then you have come to the right place.
My love for travel was ignited at a young age and has continued into adulthood. Growing up, our family often took road trips in the summer. I relished seeing and experiencing new locations and taking in the sights. As I transitioned into adulthood, I continued to make traveling a priority and visited even more destinations, both domestically and abroad. Traveling became both a hobby and passion for me, and while I have travelled to many places in my lifetime, I still wish to see a lot more. I enjoy both traveling by airplane and taking road trips, or a combination of both. I love trips with my family or friends but also will not hesitate to venture on a solo trip, when I am able.
Since I continue to work full-time, I must maximize the time I have when I am at a destination in order to visit and see as much as possible of the location. I delight in planning the trip as much as taking it, which includes creating itineraries and having backup plans in case things go awry. Through this blog, I aim to provide you with a starting place or additional insight into a destination that you are wanting to visit. I am also an avid reader and enjoy books related to the locations that I am visiting, so don’t be surprised to find a book recommendation or two in my posts. I also welcome any book recommendations you may have as well.

In addition to some of my international travels, I have visited 43 of the 50 states. My personal goal for this year is to visit seven more states to complete my goal of visiting all 50 states.
